1. Let the Wax Cool

Do not try to remove wax immediately after candle wax spilled out. First, allow it to cool down so that it hardens and becomes easier to remove. If you attempt to remove hot liquid wax then the carpet fibers actually spread it further and deeper into the carpet and it becomes impossible to remove. So, allow the wax to cool down then try to remove it from your carpet. You can either place the carpet in the freezer or can place a box of ice on the stain itself.

Once the wax has cooled down, remove the larger pieces of the wax from your carpet using any sharp object like a fork, spoon or knife.
