You can use a plier to bend the one end of the wire. Push that past the sink cover and start fishing. The bent wire will catch up all the hair and nasty stuff out of the drain. When you are satisfied that you have got all the stuff then run the hot water, and it should clear things up nicely.

2.) Baking Soda and Vinegar to Unclog a Sink

Baking soda and vinegar solution can be really effective in unclogging your sink. You need to mix equal part of baking soda with vinegar in a measuring a cup. It will give effervescence immediately, and you just need to pour the solution in the clogged drain. The fizzing action of the solution will help to remove the gunk, grime, and hair that have built up in the drainage pipe.
