- Several ice cubes
- A butter knife
- A clean sink
- A small bowl (optional)
1.) Prepare the Area and Wait Before you Remove Gum from Clothes

- Take all your tools and the garment to your sink. You can also use a bowl or a container which is of appropriate size for cleaning.
- Now, take out a few ice cubes. It is better if you have an ice-cube trays as they forms ice with a flat bottom and a flat top. If you don’t have an ice tray, any ice will be fine.
- Next, place one ice-cube under the gummed area of your clothe.
- As you have placed the gum spot in the center of the cube, now carefully balance the second ice-cube on the top of the gummed area.
- In case you are using weirdly shaped ice cubes, put the ice cubes inside the garment and then press it down into your small bowl or sink. Then put more ice on top of it.
- Wait for about 30 minutes or more. It is better to make the gum as cool as possible.
- Ice will start melting frequently so keep on adding ice.

- After waiting for half an hour, take the ice cubes off (if there are any) the fabric.
- Now on a flat surface, take a butter-knife and with its non-serrated edge, gently scrape the frozen gum off.
